About doing business with Lindemann Chimney Supply:


 Terms
Choose from Open Account, COD, Pre-Payment or Credit Card. If you'd like to open an account, click here.

An open account is available to customers who can show a 2 year business history and sucessfully pass a credit check. Invoice terms are NET 21; past due amounts are subject to a finance charge of 1.5% per month. You are responsible for all costs that might be incurred in collecting a past due amount. Approval of a credit application takes 1-2 weeks. For an application click here.

Customers on open account have 21 day terms. Amounts not paid on the 22nd to 51st day after invoicing are subject to a 1-1/2% finance charge. On the 52nd day after invoicing your account is put on credit hold; any future orders will then only ship on COD terms which include the full amount of the current invoice and 20% of past due amounts.

 Shipping
If your order is received by 3pm it will be shipped the same day via UPS, assuming it falls within the weight and size limitations of UPS. Larger items that must ship by common carrier freight line will also ship the same day if we receive your order by 2pm.

Freight carriers will normally phone you to arrange delivery and will usually charge $15 to $20 for this service. You must have someone on hand to unload your order and sign for the shipment.

We ship FOB destination from our warehouse the most economical way, and the freight costs are added to your order.

 We're pleased to provide Free Shipping if your order meets one of these minimums:
30 or more chimney covers;
50 or more feet of stainless steel chimney liner;
orders totalling $1500 or more

 Special Orders / Ovalizing
We'll be happy to help you with any special order such as a custom chimney cap or chimney liner sizes not listed in our catalog. Our customer service representative will be happy to provide you with a complete price which includes freight charges. We also offer custom ovalizing of liners to your specifications prior to shipping. Please note that ovalized liners and custom made items cannot be returned.

 Damaged Shipments
Your order is thoroughly inspected and carefully packaged. Despite our best efforts, shipping damages do occur from time to time. If your order arrives with obvious damage to the packaging, ACCEPT THE ORDER, inspect the contents and be sure to note the damage on the delivery receipt. You must then file a damage claim with the freight carrier.

If you sign for the shipment and later find the contents are damaged, you must file a concealed damage claim within 15 days. We will help you file claims with UPS should they lose or damage your order, but you must notify us IMMEDIATELY of any problems.

 Returns
If you find you must return an item purchased from us, please call us within 30 days. Returns must be accompanied by our return authorization number so that we can properly credit you upon our receipt of the item.

All returned items must be in a resaleable condition. Items returned after 30 days are subject to a 15% restocking fee. No returns are accepted after 60 days. Custom items and custom ovalized liners cannot be returned.

 After Hours Ordering
If at all possible, try to reach one of our customer service representatives between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday. You can leave your order on our answering machine and it will promptly be processed at 8am the next day. Please be sure to use the part numbers listed in our catalog to help assure our accuracy in preparing your order. Please leave your name, company name, address and zip code along with a daytime number where we can reach you just in case we have a question.
