Vacu-Stack Cap
The Vacu-Stack can cure most wind-related backpuffing problems. Obstacles such as large trees or buildings can deflect wind down a chimney flue and counteract its normal upward draft.
When wind hits the same chimney with a Vacu-Stack on it, the draft is increased in proportion to the wind speed; the unique baffle design ends wind related downdrafts.
The VSS model can be used on chimney liners, Class A prefabricated chimneys, B-vent Chimneys, and on masonry flues when combined with the Masonry Adapter.
The TDW model is used on triple wall, air-cooled chimney as its design allows for circulation of air through the outer chimney walls.
Vacu-Stack is made of 26 gauge, 304 stainless steel and comes with a 5-year warranty.
Insert the Vacu-Stack cap into the pipe. Seal with silicone caulking to provide a tight air seal.
For masonry chimneys the masonry adapter is required. Get details.
