Small, and professionally-designed to look attractive in any room. The controller is 6” square & projects less than two inches out from the wall. Outside, the matching white grill (included) is 5.5 inches square. Mount it on brick, stucco, vinyl, wood, or any other exterior. Made of ABS molded white polymer. Wipes clean easily, stays looking new indefinitely. Resists conducting heat/cold. Insulated to prevent condensation.
Filter The standard filter (included) is designed to keep insects and dust out of your house. It nestles inside the controller, cleaned or replaced merely by pulling the snap-fit controller box off the wall—no tools are necessary. Vacuum or wash it as needed, using it for years before replacement.

Condar ASV-90 Air Supply Ventilator
Installation The ventilator requires a 4-inch hole drilled through an exterior wall. Its adjustable tube will fit any wall thickness up to 14”. The light-weight controller mounts to your interior wall with four screws. The exterior grill may be fastened with your choice of screws or adhesives. Caulk with a quality sealant. You can install it in the room on the opposite side, or on the same side, as the fireplace, woodstove, or gas appliance. (It can even be in an adjacent room—so long as there’s no door to block fresh air flow into the room.) The ventilator controller shouldn’t be blocked by solid pieces of furniture.
Operation Leave Fresh Air Supply Ventilator open at all times to do its work, even when your hearth appliance isn’t being used. This relieves negative air pressure in rooms and provides controlled fresh air year-round. However, if you wish just shut it off anytime.
What maintenance is required? None. Condar’s ventilator uses no batteries or electricity. Occasionally it’s a good idea to check the filter and see that no debris has blocked the tube.

Two holes must be cut into the furnace plenums for duct connections, this is very thin metal and a pair of tin snips is all that is needed for the task. The US Plusaire® module can be screwed directly to any convenient joist or rafter through the flange in each end. For convenience, model 1 will fit between 12" center joists and model 2 will fit between 16" center joists. Once the plenum connectors and the fresh air hood are installed the only task left is to connect the flexible ducts.
Upon installation, you will notice immediately that the air feels different and you can feel confident that the house is now being automatically ventilated. For houses that have central air, a balancing damper, provided on all models, should be closed during the summer months so that the air conditioning system is not overloaded by pulling in hot humid air.

US PlusAire
Can only be installed on a forced air heating system. The type of fuel, natural gas, propane, or oil, makes no difference to its operation.
For any of the models, the maximum length of ductwork between the US Plusaire® and the furnace and the furnace and the outside wall should be ten feet, (twenty feet overall). For each of the models properly cut holes are required to accommodate the fresh air hood and insulated flexible duct. If the wall is wood or siding, then the task is quite simple and fast. If however the wall is poured concrete or block you will need a hammer drill to cut the hole. Most heating contractors have these drills and would be able to cut the hole in about one hour.
Size the system by the size of the house:
