The HY-C Draft King Single-Flue Cap features a base that’s built heavier and stronger than many competitive caps. You won’t have the wobble or buckling often found with lighter caps when you tighten the bolts (slotted hex-head). It features a 24-gauge lid, 3/4” 18-gauge mesh and a base constructed of 16-gauge – all 100% stainless steel. Hy-C takes draft performance seriously. Whereas most single-flue caps have a restrictive base with a solid mounting ledge, the Draft King mesh is bent inward to form a mounting ledge, providing an open area for optimum draft.
